will be on display in the week prior at the Customer
Service area of the Townsville City Council, at Cotters Market on
the 7th of October, Aitkenvale Library and the Knowledge Centre. |

Greening Townville and Health Services weed removal at Cungulla Tuesday 9th from 10am – 2.30pm: Join the Greening and Waterways teams and Health Services in removing Prickly Pair at Cungulla on Tuesday the 9th. The Greening team and other community groups have been doing some great work in the Cungulla community and the next step in restoring and improving the area is clearing weeds along the Doughboy boat ramp road. |

Cotters Market Stall October 7th
- A Stall will be held at Cotters Markets, with examples of
targets species, information about the weeks activities and a Free
Local Native Tree giveaway. |

Weed Swap, Vantassel Landfill October
14th 10am - 2pm.
Four environmental and backyard weeds will be specifically targeted
(see Weed Swap flyer), these are
Barleria, Singapore Daisy, Mother Of Millions and Ivy Gourd. Residents can come along and exchange them for free Local Native plants. Free entry to the tip will be provided only for those disposing of these four weeds and you must remove the weeds, bag them up and transport them to the tip yourself. For those unable to make it on the day, free entry and free tree vouchers will be issued to those disposing of the weeds at the dump throughout the week (starting Saturday 6th -14th). These vouchers can be redeemed at a later date, by phoning Townsville City Council or visiting depot at 52 Cape Pallarenda Road. |
