State Finalists Selected for EPA Clean Beach Challenge 2003

The Keep Australia Beautiful Council (Qld) Inc [KABCQ] has selected the finalists for the EPA Clean Beach Challenge 2003 State Awards to be presented in December (full list attached).

KABCQ Chief Executive Officer Barton Green said award ceremonies had been held across Queensland in late October and early November to announce the regional winners in the EPA Clean Beach Challenge.

“In each of our six judging regions, awards were presented for the overall Cleanest Beach as well as in nine Outstanding Accomplishment categories,” Mr Green said.

“Almost 60 regional awards were announced and now we have completed the difficult task of shortlisting the top three in each category as finalists for the State titles.”

The State Awards will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7.00pm on Friday, 5 December.
