Littoral scrub is found towards the southern end of the Nelly bay habitat on a friable granite colluvium soil. The Littoral scrub has relatively open patches with the presence of species such as Acacia leptostachya which are found as mature species, suggesting a latter successional phase of development. The Littoral scrub consists of simple-complex notophyll mixed Lophostemon grandiflorus a mid – high closed forest with Eucalyptus tessellaris and Melaleuca leucadendra emergents.
