  • Conservation area in Horseshoe Bay conserving a weeping tea-tree (Melaleuca leucadendra) wetland 
  • Seagrass beds. Large beds of low to high density adjoins mangrove and reef habitats 
  • Feeding ground for dugongs and marine turtles
